White Bread Scones

Ingredients
- 1 c. + 2 tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. cinnamon, optional
- 1 tbsp. Cane Sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp. Instant Dry Yeast (1 packet)
- 3 3/4 c. THRIVE Country White Dough Mix
Directions
- Make dough following directions according to can. Add cinnamon and sugar if desired while mixing.
- Once dough has risen for the first time, place on a floured surface and roll out about 1 inch thick. Cut into triangles by cutting in thirds both ways and then diagonal in half.
- Heat oil to about 300°F and drop in scones. Fry until golden brown, then remove from oil and place on paper towels to cool.
- Top with powdered sugar, jam, honey, chocolate, caramel, maple syrup, or other toppings!
