Ingredients

  • 1 c. + 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon, optional
  • 1 tbsp. Cane Sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp. Instant Dry Yeast (1 packet)
  • 3 3/4 c. THRIVE Country White Dough Mix

Directions

  1. Make dough following directions according to can. Add cinnamon and sugar if desired while mixing.
  2. Once dough has risen for the first time, place on a floured surface and roll out about 1 inch thick. Cut into triangles by cutting in thirds both ways and then diagonal in half.
  3. Heat oil to about 300°F and drop in scones. Fry until golden brown, then remove from oil and place on paper towels to cool.
  4. Top with powdered sugar, jam, honey, chocolate, caramel, maple syrup, or other toppings!
