Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp THRIVE Beef Bouillon
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Tomato Powder
  • 1/2 Sprig Rosemary
  • 4 Sprigs Thyme
  • 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 1/2 tsp Peppercorn
  • 2 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 4 C Water
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 5 Tbsp White Flour (All Purpose Unbleached Flour)
  • 1/4 C THRIVE Chopped Onions
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • 3/4 C Red Wine

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, sweat garlic with olive oil until golden brown.
  2. Add onions and stir well.
  3. Deglaze pan quickly with red wine and allow to reduce by half.
  4. Add remaining ingredients except flour and butter and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Melt butter in a small skillet, add flour, and cook together until brown in color.
  6. Allow to cool and whisk into gravy to thicken.
  7. Simmer gravy for 3–4 more minutes and pour through a strainer before serving.
