Skillet Shepherds Pie

This recipe is sure to be a family favorite! It is a buttery, delicious comfort food. This recipe is super easy to make with Thrive Life Ingredients and all you need is a skillet and a stove top! Recipe by Amber Spackman

Ingredients
- 3 TBSP Butter
- 1/2 C. Thrive ground beef
- 2 TBSP Thrive Chopped Onions
- 1/3 C Thrive Peas
- 2 TBSP Thrive Carrots
- 1/3 C. Thrive Sweet Corn
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1 tsp. Chefs Choice
- 1 TBSP Flour or Gluten Free Flour
- 2 1/2 C. Beef Broth
Directions
- Add to medium skillet 3 TBSP butter and melt. Add All ingredients to pan except broth and flour.
- Saute ingredients for 1-2 minutes. Stir and don't let burn. Whisk 1 TBSP flour to Beef broth and add to mixture, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Take lid off stir and continue to simmer until most of the moisture is gone. Make the Mashed Potatoes by following the recipe on the can.
- Add the potatoes to the top of skillet mixture and add grated cheese on top.
- Replace the lid and set to warm until cheese is melted. Serve warm and enjoy. Serves 4
