Red Wine Sauce for Meat

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp THRIVE Chopped Onions
- 3/4 C Red Wine
- 1/2 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1/2 tsp THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
- 2 1/4 C Water
- 1/3 C THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
- 2 Tbsp Butter
Directions
- In a small saucepan, sweat garlic and onions with 1 tbsp. butter until brown.
- Deglaze with red wine, and add seasonings. Reduce until syrupy.
- Add water and sauce mix and stir well. Simmer on medium low heat for 5 minutes.
- Strain through a fine strainer and finish with 2 tbsp. butter.
- Serve with steak, game, or other meat.
