Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp THRIVE Chopped Onions
  • 1/4 tsp Thyme, dry
  • 1 tsp Peppercorn
  • 1/3 C Marsala wine (optional)
  • 2 1/4 C Water
  • 1/3 C THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
  • 1/4 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 2 Tbsp Butter

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, sweat 1 tbsp. butter, garlic, onions, thyme, and ½ tsp. peppercorn blend until lightly browned.
  2. Add wine to deglaze pan and reduce until syrupy.
  3. Add water, sauce mix, and seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes on medium low heat.
  4. Strain sauce through a fine strainer, add remaining pepper, and swirl butter into sauce.
