Peppercorn Steak Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Garlic
- 2 Tbsp THRIVE Chopped Onions
- 1/4 tsp Thyme, dry
- 1 tsp Peppercorn
- 1/3 C Marsala wine (optional)
- 2 1/4 C Water
- 1/3 C THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
- 1/4 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 2 Tbsp Butter
Directions
- In a small saucepan, sweat 1 tbsp. butter, garlic, onions, thyme, and ½ tsp. peppercorn blend until lightly browned.
- Add wine to deglaze pan and reduce until syrupy.
- Add water, sauce mix, and seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes on medium low heat.
- Strain sauce through a fine strainer, add remaining pepper, and swirl butter into sauce.
