Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Chopped Onions- Dehydrated
  • 2 tbsp. THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
  • 1 c. THRIVE Celery - Freeze Dried
  • 2 c. THRIVE Mushroom Pieces - Freeze Dried
  • 1 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
  • 1/2 c. smoked bacon, diced small
  • 1 lb. dried bread pieces (about 1 loaf)
  • 1 tbsp. garlic
  • 4 oz. butter (1 stick)
  • 4 c. water
  • 1 tbsp. sage, fresh

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a 2-quart saucepan, brown the bacon.
  3. Add the garlic and sweat until lightly browned.
  4. Add the butter and melt together.
  5. Add the water (use more or less water depending on how moist you’d like the stuffing) and all remaining ingredients except bread.
  6. Bring to a simmer for 8 minutes.
  7. Place the dried bread in a large bowl and pour mixture over it in small amounts while stirring.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Bake in a casserole dish or on a cookie sheet for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp around edges.
