Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Hot Water
  • 3 Cups Thrive Seasoned Chicken Slices
  • 1/2 Cup Thrive Red Bell Peppers
  • 1/2 lb Diced Bacon
  • 1/2 Cup Thrive Chopped Onions
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Thrive Chef's Choice Seasoning
  • 1 Cup Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tsp Liquid Smoke Flavoring

Directions

  1. Add hot water to chicken and red bell peppers in a bowl and let sit to reconstitute.
  2. Cook bacon over medium heat until almost caramelized.
  3. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
  4. Drain off half the bacon grease, then add garlic and chicken mixture and sauté until water is almost gone.
  5. Add Chef’s Choice, ¾ cup BBQ sauce, and smoke flavoring and heat through.
  6. Spread remaining BBQ sauce on small slider size buns and add chicken mixture as desired.
  7. Yield: 4 Cups
