Ingredients

  • 8 c. Water
  • 3 tbsp. THRIVE Chicken Bouillon
  • 2 tbsp. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
  • 2 c. small pasta - your choice. For gluten free alternative, I use rice
  • 2 c. THRIVE Sausage Crumbles - Freeze Dried
  • 1/2 c. Mixed Bell Peppers
  • 2 c. THRIVE Chopped Spinach - Freeze Dried
  • 1/4 c. Pesto - prepared or homemade

Directions

  1. Bring broth to boil and add pasta or rice if you're opting for gluten free.
  2. Cook 5 minutes (depends on the type of pasta you use so adjust if needed). You're looking to get the pasta about 1/2 cooked. Stir a few times to prevent sticking.
  3. Add onion, sausage, dehydrated peppers. Stir and cook for another minute or two.
  4. Turn heat off and add spinach and pesto. Stir again and cover.
  5. Let sit covered for another few minutes to finish the pasta / rice, while you're setting the table and calling the family.
