Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. ketchup
  • 3 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 4 c. water
  • 3 1/2 tbsp. THRIVE Beef Bouillon
  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 5 tbsp. cold water
  • 1/4 c. THRIVE Green Onions - Freeze Dried

Directions

  1. In a 2 quart saucepan sweat the garlic and sesame oil. Add the cayenne and chopped onions.
  2. Add the soy sauce, ketchup and vinegar and stir. Add water and bouillon and stir. Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
  3. Mix cold water and cornstarch together to create a slurry, then add slurry to the soup while it boils.
  4. Bring back to a simmer for 3-4 minutes and strain soup through a fine strainer.
  5. Add green onions and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
