Enchilada Sauce (Using Espagnole)

Our delicious enchilada sauce brings a little south-of-the-border flavor right to your kitchen.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/8 tsp. chipotle powder or cayenne
- 1/4 tsp. THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1 tbsp. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
- 1 tbsp. garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. Tomato Powder
- 2 tbsp. THRIVE Green Chili Peppers - Freeze Dried
- 1/3 c. THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
- 1 1/2 tsp. lime juice
- 1 tbsp. cilantro
- 1/4 c sour cream
Directions
- In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients except sour cream and simmer for 4–5 minutes.
- Puree sauce in blender until smooth.
- Return to stove and heat to a simmer. Turn off heat and fold in sour cream.
- Fill and top enchiladas with sauce.
