Dutch Oven Deep Dish Lasagna

Lasagna in a Dutch oven!

Ingredients
- 21 Lasagna Noodles, cooked
- 2 Tbsp Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 C THRIVE Ground Beef
- 1 C THRIVE Sausage Crumbles
- 3/4 C THRIVE Chopped Onions
- 1 1/2 C THRIVE Mushroom Pieces
- 8 C Water
- 2 Tbsp THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
- 1 Tbsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1/2 Tbsp Basil
- 1 C THRIVE Tomato Dices
- 1 1/4 C THRIVE Tomato Sauce
- 1 C Parmesan Cheese
- 3 C Cottage Cheese
- 1 Tbsp THRIVE Chefs Choice
- 1 Tbsp Salad Seasoning Blend
- 4 C THRIVE Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, reconstituted
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Salad Seasoning Blend
Directions
- Cook and cool noodles.
- In a 14-inch Dutch oven, start sauce by sweating garlic and olive oil together lightly.
- Add meats, onions, and mushrooms and stir. Add water, Italian and Chef's Choice blends, basil, and tomato dices and stir. Bring to a simmer.
- Add tomato sauce mix and return to a simmer, then stir in parmesan cheese.
- In a bowl mix cottage cheese with remaining seasonings.
- Remove most of sauce from the Dutch oven, leaving ½ inch in the bottom. Layer 7 lasagna noodles over sauce, spread cottage cheese over the noodles, and add more sauce. Repeat two more times and top with mozzarella and 1 ½ tbsp. Salad Seasoning Blend.
- Bake for 30–45 minutes with 21 coals around rim of lid and 11 coals underneath oven.
