Country White Cinnamon Rolls

Yummy cinnamon rolls made with our Country White Dough Mix!

Ingredients
- Dough
- 1 c. + 2 tbsp water, hot
- 2 1/4 tsp. Instant Dry Yeast
- 3 3/4 c. THRIVE Country White Dough Mix
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. Cane Sugar
- 1 tbsp. butter, melted
- Filling
- 1 c. Brown Sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. pecans (optional)
- 1/3 c. butter, softened
- Frosting
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 6 oz. cream cheese
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 c. Powdered Sugar (sifted)
- 2 tbsp. heavy cream
Directions
- Follow directions on can to prepare dough. Add cinnamon, sugar, and butter in with other dry ingredients
- Knead dough into a smooth ball. Put in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 45 minutes).
- Roll out into a rectangle about ¼” thick on a floured surface. Mix together brown sugar, pecans (if used), and cinnamon.
- Spread butter over dough and press cinnamon mixture into dough. Roll up tightly and seal with egg wash on the end.
- Cut roll into 1” thick slices. Place rolls in pan about 1 inch apart and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise until about doubled.
- Bake at 350°F for about 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- For frosting, cream together butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add in remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Frost rolls once cooled and serve.
