Ingredients

  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup TL FD chopped onion (or 1/8 cup dehydrated chopped onions)
  • 2/3 cup TL FD peas
  • 1 can - 5-6 ounces tuna
  • 1 can - 10 1/2 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/3 cup TL instant milk, reconstituted
  • 1 cup TL FD cheddar cheese or regular cheddar
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp TL butter powder, reconstituted with a little extra water or melted butter
  • 1/2 cup TL FD cheddar cheese or regular cheddar
  • 1 Tbsp parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine topping ingredients and set aside.
  2. Boil noodles al dente according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. Saute onions in butter until tender.
  4. In a large bowl combine noodles, onions, peas, tuna, soup, milk, cheese, and parsley. Mix well.
  5. Spread into a 2qt casserole dish and top with crumb topping.
  6. Bake 18-20 minutes or until bubbly.
