Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 1/2 c THRIVE Onion Slices + 2/4 cups of water
  • 333/1000 c Sherry Cooking Wine
  • 1/2 tsp THRIVE Chef's Choice
  • 1/2 tsp Peppercorn
  • 1 tbsp THRIVE Italian Seasoning Blend
  • 2 c Water
  • 333/1000 c THRIVE Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy)
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced

Directions

  1. Reconstitute the onions with the water.
  2. Add in garlic and saute/
  3. Deglaze the pan with Sherry.
  4. Simmer down by half.
  5. Add in the seasonings and stir.
  6. Add water and bring to a simmer, then whisk in the Espagnole sauce.
  7. Take off heat and swirl in remaining tbsp. of butter to finish.
  8. You can strain or leave onions in, according to your desire.
