Candied Pecans

Rich pecans coated with a sweet and savory sauce and roasted to perfection!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. Pecan Halves
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 1/4 c. Brown Sugar
- 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Pure Vanilla
- 1 tbsp. Water
- 1/4 tsp. Iodized Salt
Directions
- Place all ingredients together, except the pecans, in a small saucepan and cook until sugar and butter are melted, looking like caramel.
- Fold nuts into mixture.
- Pour out onto a Teflon baking pan and roast in oven at 350 for about 7-10 minutes or until sugar caramelizes on nuts.
- Set aside until ready to assemble parfaits. Try not to eat them all!
