Ingredients
- 2 TBL butter
- 2 TBL all-purpose flour
- 2-1/2 cups Thrive Instant Milk refreshed
- 1.5 cups Thrive Butternut Squash pureed
- 1 tsp sautéed Thrive Onion
- salt & pepper to taste
Directions
- Melt butter in large skillet, add flour and stir together to form a roux.
- Add milk whisking as you pour.
- Add the Butternut Squash puree, onions and salt and pepper to taste
- Whist until smooth and well incorporated and continue heating until just starting to bubble.
- Turn off heat.
- Top with fresh parmesan cheese, parsley and freshly ground pepper if desired.
