Ingredients

  • 4 C THRIVE Beef Slices
  • 2 C THRIVE Mushroom PIeces
  • 1 C THRIVE Onion Slices
  • 2 Tbsp THRIVE Tomato Powder
  • 1 Tbsp THRIVE Beef Bouillon
  • 1/2 tsp Peppercorn or add to taste
  • 2 cloves Garlice, minced
  • 1 Tbsp Thyme, fresh
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 C Red Wine, good table wine
  • 5 C Water
  • 2 Tbsp White Flour (All Purpose Unbleached Flour)
  • 1/4 C Water, for slurry

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a deep skillet. Add the minced garlic, sliced onions to saute.
  2. Add mushrooms and stir. Let your veggies get a little bit toasted.
  3. Add in the beef and wine.
  4. Next add the water, tomato powder, bouillon and thyme.
  5. Bring up to a simmer and continue to simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Make a slurry of flour and water. Pour into your pot and stir until slightly thickened.
