Pizza Swirls

These swirls pack the yumminess of pizza into a fun shareable size.

Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. THRIVE Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - Freeze Dried (rehydrated and set aside)
- 2 1/3 c. very warm water
- 3 tbsp. Tomato Powder
- 1 tbsp. active dry baker's yeast
- 2 tsp. Iodized Salt
- 2/3 c. THRIVE Red Bell Peppers - Freeze Dried
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 tbsp. Oregano
- 3 oz. pork and beef pepperoni, chopped
- 2 tbsp. Cane Sugar (or honey)
- 1/4 c. THRIVE Chopped Onions - Freeze Dried
- 1/3 c. pesto
- 1 c. Whole Wheat Flour (more or less to preference)
- 3 1/2 c. bread flour
Directions
- Mix all ingredients EXCEPT cheese together in the order given, in a bread mixing bowl with a kneading attachment.
- Add the flour slowly, until the dough is slightly sticky and springs back under your touch.
- Mix well to incorporate.
- Let dough rise in a greased bowl until doubled.
- Punch down.
- Roll into a large rectangle just as you would for making cinnamon rolls.
- Sprinkle with Mozzarella, parmesan and any other cheeses of your choice.
- You can also add other toppings, such as sliced olives, THRIVE Sausage Crumbles, etc.
- Roll up and seal the seam by pinching dough together.
- You will have a long "log."
- Using a sharp knife, cut 1 1/2" pieces and place circles on a greased baking pan.
- Let rest for 5 or 10 minutes and then place in conventional oven, preheated to 350 degrees.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until cheese starts to brown.
