This recall affects the following Thrive Life products which the following lot numbers:

Are other Thrive Life chicken products also included in this recall?

No, Cheesy Chicken, Southwester Style Chicken, Butter Chicken, Chicken Teriyaki & Rice, and Chicken Spinach Alfredo are separate products and are not affected by this recall. Thrive Life Diced Chicken, Grilled Chicken Dices, and Seasoned Chicken Slices produced outside of the recall lot numbers listed above are also not included in the recall. 

Why is this product being recalled?

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced a product recall involving chicken on October 9th, 2024. The fully cooked chicken has been recalled by one of our suppliers (BrucePac) for the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. For the most up to date information regarding the recall, click here.

Are the Diced Chicken, Grilled Chicken Dices, and Seasoned Chicken Slices unsafe to eat?

The Diced Chicken, Grilled Chicken Dices, and Seasoned Chicken Slices with the lot numbers listed above are considered unsafe for consumption by the FSIS. For the most up to date information regarding the recall, click here.

What if I've already consumed my Diced Chicken, Grilled Chicken Dices, or Seasoned Chicken Slices?

Persons who experience flu-like symptoms within two months after eating contaminated food should seek medical care and tell the health care provide about eating the contaminated food. 

Are the Diced Chicken, Grilled Chicken Dices, and Seasoned Chicken Slices still available for purchase?

As a precautionary measure, these products will be out-of-stock until we are confident there has been no cross contamination.

If I have unopened cans of this product, what should I do?

If you still have any unconsumed cans of this product with the lot numbers listed above, dispose of it immediately. To dispose of this product, open each can and place both can and product in an outside trash receptacle. Please do not ship this product back to Thrive Life.

Will my recalled product be refunded or replaced?

Customers who have purchased the Diced Chicken, Grilled Chicken Dices, and Seasoned Chicken Slices with the lot numbers listed above will be issued Thrive Credit equivalent to the product purchased within the next 7-10 business days.

What if I have recalled product but have not received a notification email?

Recall notifications will send by the end of October 2024. If you have not received a notification by this date and you believe you have recalled product, please first verify that your product is Diced Chicken, Grilled Chicken Dices, or Seasoned Chicken Slices have matching lot numbers, not any of the Thrive Life meals. Once verified, contact our toll-free recall help line at 877-743-5373 or email bprecall@thrivelife.com.

Can I get a refund instead of Thrive Credit?

Thrive Credit will be automatically credited to customers who have purchased the Diced Chicken, Grilled Chicken Dices, or Seasoned Chicken Slices with the lot numbers listed above. If a refund is preferred then you will need to contact Thrive Life customer support by calling our toll free number 877-743-5373 or emailing bprecall@thrivelife.com. If you have already used the issued Thrive Credit then a refund will not be an option.
